🌼 A Living Sanskriti in Bengaluru 🌼

About EBCA

East Bengaluru Cultural Association — Dharma · Sanskriti · Samuhik Anand

EBCA is not merely an organization — it is a living embodiment of Dharma, Sanskriti, and Samuhik Anand. A cultural bridge in Bengaluru, uniting people beyond caste, creed, and community — bound by devotion and shared heritage.

Our Sankalp (Vision)

To create a Sanatani socio-cultural space where:

  • Traditions are preserved, not performed
  • Festivals are experienced, not organized
  • Culture is lived, not displayed

We strive to nurture young hearts and minds with the richness of Bharatiya heritage—ensuring that while we grow globally, we remain deeply rooted.

The EBCA Experience

At EBCA Maha Durga Puja, every element is curated as a holistic spiritual and cultural journey:

Dhunuchi Naach
Cultural Evenings & Dandiya
Bhog & Food Fest
Lactation & Senior Care Lounge
500+ Parking & Facilities
Cultural & Shopping Zone
Kids Play Zone

Each aspect is designed to ensure that Bhakti meets beauty, and Seva meets structure.

Our Journey — From Sankalp to Sanskriti

2018

The Beginning of a Sacred Yatra

Inaugurated by Locket Chatterjee and blessed by a message from the Hon'ble Prime Minister. Introduced Bengaluru's first Anandamela, hosted a 20 ft Kali Murti, and brought soulful music through SaReGaMa artists.

2019

Expanding Cultural Horizons

Rooftop concerts with Marriott Hotel, Sankranti Utsav with Inorbit Mall, Poila Boishakh with Nexus Mall. Introduction of themed Puja in Mahadevpura marked a new era of creative devotion.

2020

Dharma in Difficult Times

During the pandemic, EBCA continued through digital celebrations — virtual festivals and Baul music gatherings — ensuring Bhakti remained uninterrupted.

2021

Reconnecting the Community

EBCA became a symbol of inclusive celebration, welcoming devotees for Bhog and Darshan. Collaborations with Nexus spaces strengthened the bond between community and culture.

2022

Seva Beyond Celebration

10,000+ meals served — embracing the true essence of Dharma. Promoted traditional crafts like Channapatna toys (Vocal for Local) and received multiple awards.

2023

Recognition & Expansion

Launched the Citizenship Award, partnerships with Orion Mall, RED FM events, and performances by renowned Bengali bands brought new vibrancy.

2024

A Grand Cultural Confluence

Widely recognised as the "Maddox Square of Bangalore," EBCA emerged as a vibrant centre of devotion and celebration. Dhaki and Dhunuchi Naach competitions, electrifying performance of Bhoomi — a true cultural landmark of Bengaluru.

2025

Towards Greater Glory

A Symphony of Devotion, Heritage & Togetherness. Durga Puja at EBCA is not just a festival — it is a living कथा of Bhakti, Sanskriti, and collective celebration.

More Than a Festival — A Living Tradition

College Street Comes to Bengaluru

5000+ Bengali books — classics, children's literature, rare collections. A space where ज्ञान meets भावना.

Patachitra – Living Folk Tradition

Hand-painted scrolls, storytelling through song — a seamless blend of art, devotion, and narrative.

The Theme Pandal

Lovingly crafted by Bangalore Chitra Kala Parishad — where Art transforms into Aradhana, and Aradhana blossoms into Anubhuti.

Sacred Rituals (Parampara in Practice)

Guided by Sri Sibaprosad Mukhopadhyay (Siba Prasad Da), each ritual is performed with authenticity and devotion:

Daily mantra chanting
Pushpanjali
Sandhi Puja
Kumari Puja

This is not ritual as formality — it is sadhana in its purest form.

At EBCA

Devotion is collective
Culture is immersive
Community is family

Every visitor becomes a yatri, every moment becomes a smaran, and every celebration becomes a spiritual memory.
